Individual lessons are for the beginner, intermediate, advanced, and elite skill levels
In individual lessons we will work one on one; only. We will use the Dartfish Sports Software along with state of the art video cameras to video tape and assess your form. We can use slow motion, freeze frame, in-depth angle readouts, infinite timing, etc.
This allows us to get a close and very accurate picture of the variables of your shot form.
Video taping your form, and our work together provides us with the ability to keep accurate records of each step of the way toward reaching your archery goals.
In other words, we can pick up on the little things that make up the whole picture of how you manage your shot process.
Individual lessons are especially helpful for beginners, individual lessons offer you as a beginner a great opportunity to focus on developing good form, with little or no distractions. We will work on specific individual archery techniques that make up the complete shot process; individual lessons allow us to stay focused on each segment of the whole shot sequence; from the most simple -proper stance - through the final follow through of the shot routine; Everything that comes in-between, until you are comfortable that you have mastered each step of the way.
We will make an assessment of your equipment, insuring that you have a clear understanding of how each part works, insuring that it fits you properly.
We will assess your equipment set up, making sure that you get the maximum results out of all that archery gear you have spent so much money on. I will help you to make appropriate selections in ordering the proper equipment for you, right from the start.
You will learn how to properly execute your release aid, whether you use the typical wrist strap jaw caliper type, or the more complex hand held back-tension styles.
If you are a finger shooter, (no release aids), you will learn how to properly grip the string, draw and anchor, proper release, and follow through. This will help you to become consistant in your release, with little consious thought.
For the the more advanced archer, or even if you have achieved the elite status, individual lessons with Ginger Hopwood will help you increase focus toward improving your mental game.... together, we will do an in-depth assessment of the fine tuning of your equipment to insure the maximum enhancement of your skill; Our extensive video taping assessment of your form will inable us to pick up on the little things that make up the whole picture, this will make all the difference in the end result of your tournament.
Individual lessons allow us to be flexible in how we schedule lessons. We will work to set goals and create individual game plans to help you to manage your game.
